
Ceatus Media Group was formed in 2004 by Dr. David Evans as a joint
venture
with Access Media Group LLC.
David Evans, PhD, MBA
» Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Evans has directed marketing efforts for both medical companies and surgical practices since 1985.
In 1995 he began his career in Internet publishing and advertising. Since that time he has been actively
involved in building Internet visibility for numerous surgical practices, both in the United States and abroad.
He is also the founder of
VectorVision, which since 1987 has specialized in developing
products for the standardization of contrast sensitivity testing. Dr. Evans is a recognized
authority on Internet medical marketing strategies. He has spoken at meetings
of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery,
American Society of Plastic Surgeons,
International Society of Refractive Surgery and
American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Tom Meinert
» Partner & Publisher, Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery
Mr. Meinert's 20-year publishing career includes roles as associate
publisher at a unit of Medical Economics Company and vice
president, sales of three eye care trade publications. In 1997, Mr. Meinert
co-founded Access Media Group, a
business partner of Ceatus Media Group. Access Media specializes in print and electronic
eye health information for consumers, and the company's flagship property,
All About Vision®,
is expected to serve more than eight million unique visitors in
2007.
Ron Walker
» Partner & Publisher, Consumer Guide to Dentistry
Mr. Walker is an expert in search engine optimization. He conceptualized and
directed the optimization for the most-visited eye care portal on the
Internet, All About Vision®. This
effort resulted in top-five rankings for hundreds of
highly competitive terms including
LASIK
and contact
lenses, and a 600% increase in traffic over a 48-month period, to six
million visitors per year. Mr. Walker has provided search engine consulting
services to a number of publicly traded corporations, and his work has been
featured at Search Engine Strategies, an international conference of search
engine marketing professionals.
Jack Barrient
» Vice President, Sales
Mr. Barrient has directed health care-related marketing and sales efforts for more than 25 years. During the last eight
years, he has marketed programs to build consumer Internet visibility for surgeons who offer elective fee-for-service
procedures. His background includes ophthalmology, dentistry and plastic surgery, throughout the U.S., Canada,
Europe and Australia.
Mike Brooks
» Vice President, Operations
Mr. Brooks joined Ceatus in 2007 and directs day-to-day operations for the
company, including a team of writers, webmasters and programmers who serve the
company's clients. He has nearly two decades of experience in business
management and sales in the Internet and high-technology fields. During this
time he successfully launched, managed and sold a broadband company that served
corporate clients throughout Southern California. Mr. Brooks has a BA in business
economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Nathan Johnson
» Executive Editor
Mr. Johnson joined Ceatus in September 2007 to help launch new Internet portals, and
also serves as the managing editor of YourLegalGuide.com. He was formerly
managing editor of Imagine Your Health, one of the first online publications
covering elective health care procedures, and has authored many articles about consumer Internet use
for healthcare research. His work has been appeared in numerous medical, dental and
legal publications.
Mr. Johnson has a BA in history from the University of California, San Diego, and an
MA in literature from the University of Toronto.
Denise Mann
» Editor
A veteran healthcare journalist, Ms. Mann has 15 years of online experience with
sites such as WebMD. Previously she was senior editor for the Medical Tribune News
Service and her articles have appeared in the Detroit Free Press, the Chicago Sun-Times, special sections
of The Wall Street Journal and many other publications. Ms. Mann has received numerous
awards including the Journalistic Achievement Award from the
American Society for
Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. She has a journalism degree from Lehigh University, with a
graduate degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Ms.
Mann is editor of
Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery and
Consumer Guide to Weight Loss Surgery.
Steve Bagi

A veteran of graphic design, Mr. Bagi worked with a number of advertising agencies
developing successful campaigns for such clients as First USA bank,
Southwest Airlines and Cahners Publishing. Mr. Bagi is president of Bagi Design, and he
directs all design work for Ceatus Media Group.
Liz Segre
» Corporate Webmaster
A former editor-in-chief of Eyecare Business magazine, Ms. Segre has also held a number of editorial positions with consumer
publications at Cahners Publishing. Ms. Segre is editor of All About
Vision and oversees all website development for Access Media and Ceatus Media Group.
Jessica Hill
» Marketing Manager
Ms. Hill has a background in sales, market research, database management, and
web development; she is involved in the company's search engine optimization,
content management and marketing efforts.
